Parent Roadmap:
Get Started on Finding the Right Supports
When your child is struggling at home or school, it can be hard to know where to start. Should you pursue therapy, parent support, a school evaluation, or something else? Parents often receive advice from friends, family, other professionals, or the internet, but the guidance can be conflicting or not always grounded in research, making it even harder to figure out what your child truly needs. Or maybe your child already completed an evaluation and received a diagnosis with a long list of recommendations, but you’re unsure how to prioritize, or where to begin. That’s where Parent Roadmap comes in.
Parent Roadmap is a short-term consultation service (1-3 sessions) designed to help parents clarify their next steps. Whether the challenges are related to learning, behavior, mental health, or development, you’ll have the chance to:
Talk through your concerns and questions
Prioritize what problems to address first
Learn which supports or services are most likely to help, based on research
Leave with a clear, practical plan for next steps
Parent Roadmap is not ongoing therapy or a diagnostic evaluation with your child. Instead, it provides timely, expert guidance so you can feel confident about moving forward in the right direction.
Drawing on her background in school and child psychology, and expertise in neurodiversity (autism, ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, and more), Dr. Amy Bohlander created Parent Roadmap to help families clarify what they need and access the right supports more quickly.
