Welcome to Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS)!

Evidence-based care. Personalized support. For all ages.

CAPSS is a collaborative group of licensed psychologists and psychiatric nurse practitioners in independent practice. Our office is conveniently located in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, and most of our providers offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. While our name highlights our expertise in working with children and teens, we also serve many adults, including college students, young adults, neurodivergent adults, and parents.

Our Services

At CAPSS, we focus on high-quality, evidence-based, and personalized care within a neurodiversity-affirming framework.

Evidence-based means we use treatments and approaches that research has shown to be effective for specific concerns. Neurodiversity-affirming means we recognize that brains work in many different ways. We focus on understanding each person’s unique strengths and challenges and helping them navigate the world in ways that support their well-being. Personalized care means that even when two clients share the same diagnosis or concern, our approach may look different. We tailor our work to each client’s individual needs, goals, and preferences.

We offer evaluations, IQ testing, individual & group therapy, parent consultation, and medication management. To request services at CAPSS, please complete our New Client Inquiry Form.

Please Note

Please note that submitting the New Client Inquiry Form does not place you on a waitlist or guarantee services now or in the future. Instead, it allows you to express interest so that our providers can review your inquiry if an opening becomes available. Why?

Many of the questions we receive are answered on our website. We work hard to keep our website up-to-date with current service offerings, and how to best access those services.
